Weapons Of Wisdom

Mark 16:17-20 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out
demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink
anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will
recover." 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and
sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord
working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. NKJV
These signs will follow those who believe! Jesus said my words will never pass away! These
signs still follow those who believe. A sign always points to something. The signs that follow
us who believe point to Jesus! He is God’s mercy for us! God wanted us to be free from
demonic strongholds in our mind and body. He wanted to have the languages that would be
necessary to communicate to all people groups and cultures as well as angels and whatever
being is out there as part of His creation. He wanted us to know that when we lay our hands on
the sick, that they would recover! This is the good news of the kingdom that we are supposed
to demonstrate. These are the signs of the gospel of the kingdom! This is all meant to point to
Jesus, who is the king of kings in that kingdom. We are also kings and priests, in fact a royal
priesthood! But He is the King and the High Priest! The prayer that the church has been
praying for 2000 years is: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
This is the will of God and will come to pass! We are given these signs to point to Jesus and his
kingdom coming to earth! After Jesus had spoken these words to his disciples, he was
received into heaven. They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them,
confirming the word through the accompanying signs! This is a concept we have not yet fully
understood in the modern day church…..They went out and preached everywhere! This what
Gods plan is all about….. They went out! I’m glad we have wonderful powerful meetings at
church, but just think of the demonstration of power through signs wonders and miracles He
wants to do through us…….out there!
