Weapons Of Wisdom
“Moving Towards Destiny Part 7”
By Christopher J. Hardwick
Hab 2:1-4  I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see
what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. 2 Then the
Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That
he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the
end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will
surely come, It will not tarry.  4 "Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. NKJV
Last week I talked about how Jesus dealt with the principality of “unbelief” in his
own hometown.  The strategy was to go in a circuit teaching and send the
disciples out with authority.  He taught “faith” in the circuit, to change the
mindsets of people.  His disciples were sent out on a faith mission with total trust
in God for provision and were able to perform mighty miracles!  This strategy
brought down the principality of “unbelief”.  I asked the question:  What are the
principalities in this area?  Unbelief is one of the major ones!  I first want to look at
a strategy for each of us personally and then I want to look at a region strategy.
The above scripture starts out telling us to position ourselves on the rampart.
This means high tower and has the implication to siege!  That means to get up
higher then you are right now, out of your own consuming thoughts and wait for
God to speak to you.  The first thing that God will do is correct how we see!  He
many times would ask the prophet’s:  What do you see?  He wants us to know if
we are seeing correctly!  And If we are not, he wants to correct us to bring us to
true freedom!   This means we must stay in an attitude of true humility.   The Lord
wants to let us know what our true purpose and destiny is.    Then in verse 2 he
tell us to write it down and make it simple to understand.   Have you written your
vision down?  If you haven’t, don’t waste another day.  Get out a pad of paper and
in less than 100 words write it down.  The less words the better!   Fewer words
will make it simple to understand for you and others!  If you do not know what
your called to do, start at verse 1 and take your stand.  After you have written it
down go back to verse 1 and take your stand and wait for God to speak and see if
you need to make some corrections!  Continued……… next week!
