“Moving Towards Destiny Part 6”

Last Week I explained the mandate given to the church. Which is part of our
destiny. We will have the solutions for people that are in darkness, looking for
truth and light! We’ll show the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities in
order to bring them down. A principality gets its power from what the majority of
the people of that region really believe. Here’s an example of Jesus working in
this principle in his own hometown.
Mark 6:4-6 But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his
own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house." 5 Now He could do
no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and
healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about
the villages in a circuit, teaching. NKJV
In Jesus hometown, a lot of people knew him and there was little faith that he
could perform any kind of miracle. Why? They were familiar with him. After all he
was Joseph & Mary’s boy and who does he think he is? In fact they were
offended! There was also the lack of belief for any kind of miracle regardless of
who was performing them! The principality of unbelief had gained control of the
region because of the belief of the majority of the region. There was so much
unbelief in the region that he could only heal a few sick folk. That word few means
less than ten! The wisdom that he received to take down the principality of
unbelief was to go in a circle around the region and teach. What did he teach?
Faith in God! He also took his twelve disciples and sent them out in that same
region without natural means to support themselves! He told them to go heal the
sick, cast out devils, raise the dead etc… By not depending on anything but what
the “Word” had said, they completely dethroned the principality of unbelief!
Mark 6:31-32 And He said to them, "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place
and rest a while." For there were many coming and going, and they did not even
have time to eat. 32 So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by
themselves.
