| Weapons Of Wisdom “Moving Towards Destiny” By Christopher J. Hardwick Eph 1:17-20 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power One of the key elements, that give us hope, is to know what our purpose is. The people of the world, as well as many Christians are walking around not knowing what their purpose is or even what their true destiny is. The main focus we have in this ministry is to help people find out what their called to do, and help them get there. This is a foreign concept to many. In this series I want to examine this issue of calling and destiny from a couple of directions to give a clearer understanding as to what your true calling and destiny are. The first thing we need to do is take the above scripture and pray it over your life (OUTLOUD!) . Lord I pray that you give me a Spirit of wisdom and revelation of you! Lord, cause the eyes of my understanding to come open! Lord let me know the HOPE of your calling that is on my life and cause me to know your full Glory and all of the inheritance that you have already given me. Lord let me see the true greatness of your power towards me and help me to believe it with your mighty power! Amen! Knowing what, your called to do, will restore hope! Once you know, you will have to take a step of obedience towards it. The step of obedience opens the door of destiny and determination propels you through it! It is going to take determination to walk through it because the last thing the enemy wants is for you to know, what you are really called to do. He will try to stop you first of all by using your thought process against you. Proverbs 23:7 Says as a man thinks within himself, so is he. We need to get the Lords revelation about us and regardless of what we think , take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and pull down every stronghold…Continued next week.......... |
