Weapons Of Wisdom
“Moving Towards Destiny Part 4”
By Christopher J. Hardwick
Eph 3:8-13 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was
given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of
Christ, 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from
the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things
through Jesus Christ; 10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God
might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the
heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished
in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with
confidence through faith in Him. NKJV
Last week I was talking about taking dominion over our self from our God given
position of authority which is seated in heavenly places. But our sphere of
authority goes far beyond self into the true mandate and destiny for our lives.
You are created for a purpose and you are destined for great things! In the
above passage of scripture Paul had come to the place in his life where he
knew that his natural talents had come from God when he was created and
anything of any value in his life was because of What Jesus had done. Paul’s
life was a true “Amazing Grace” story. In this passage he is laying out his
purpose. He was sent to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of
Christ. He was to become a vessel of revelation of the things that have been
hidden! This is also what we are called to do. In verse 10 He lays out a
mandate that was given concerning the church’s role in the earth. Our job in
the church is to show and make known the manifold wisdom of God to the
principalities and powers in the heavenly places! I asked the question: Why did
was this mandate given to the church? Because God has destined for the
church to over throw His enemy’s and have true dominion over the earth and
make way for the King of Kings! The word principalities, comes from the base
word principle.
Principle: 1 a fundamental truth or proposition serving as the foundation for
belief or action. 2 a rule or belief governing one's personal behavior.
